This involves reviewing all incoming work requests and assigning tasks to the appropriate personnel, communicating status on work requests to the client, leading the applications support team projects with assistance from assigned PM resources, and keeping all administrative systems (ie. PPM, time keeping, AppsManager, etc.) current with accurate data at all times. Skills Required: Technical skills related to supporting software applications within a large enterprise infrastructure: TCPIP, DNS, firewall, internet zones, network protocols, physical/virtual servers, file/data storage, client/server application platform, web-based application platform, client-based application platform. Communications skills related to leading a team of analysts and developers responsible for supporting software applications within a large enterprise infrastructure. Communications skills related to customer facing activities including providing project status updates and responding to ad hoc requests from the customer or internal resources. Project Management skills related applications development or technical infrastructure support or deployment Administrative skills related to managing PPM, time keeping systems, AppsManager, etc. Vendor management skills related to working with/supporting third party applications within a large enterprise infrastructure. Optional Skills: A background in software development would be helpful along with prior experience working with state or local government organization. Job Responsibilities: The person in this role is responsible for applying all of the skills listed above to support the applications and delivery requirements of the SDS Team of the CoSD account. This includes managing the workload assignments of the team, articulating the technical requirements necessary to complete work requests, working with internal or external vendor resources to complete required tasks, communicating status updates to the customer and account leadership, responding appropriately to ad hoc requests for services and information related to application support activities, applying formal project management discipline to work requests and mentoring the applications support team with PM process, administering the appropriate data repositories required to document team activities and managing the third party vendors that supply the applications utilized by the organization.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
